Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum, Utah
Step inside Utah's oldest surviving government building, once intended as the capitol of the Utah Territory. Construction began in 1852, but only the south wing was ever finished before funds ran out, leaving the grand original design unrealized. Today the sandstone statehouse operates as a museum, its rooms filled with territorial-era artifacts and pioneer relics drawn from a rotating collection of more than 5,000 pieces.
