Sand Hollow State Park, Utah
Red sandstone cliffs frame an emerald-green reservoir here, with Sand Mountain's 15,000 acres of dunes and slickrock stretching south across the horizon. Sand Hollow is the only Utah state park with direct OHV access to that terrain, drawing off-roaders alongside boaters, wakeboarders, and swimmers who enjoy water that stays warm well into the fall near Hurricane and St. George.
