Rockport State Park, Utah
Rockport Reservoir fills a Wasatch Mountain valley near Wanship, formed when the Wanship Dam flooded the small town of Rockport in the 1950s. During drought years, the old town's foundations and stone walls resurface along the shoreline. Today the park draws boaters, water skiers, campers, and anglers, with cross-country ski trails open through the winter months.
