Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail, Utah
Follow a former Union Pacific rail corridor for 28 gently graded miles between Park City and Echo Reservoir, tracing Silver Creek Canyon and the Weber River through Wanship and Coalville. Utah's first rail-trail, dedicated in 1992, is open year-round to hikers, cyclists, horseback riders, and Nordic skiers along a route once used to haul coal and passengers through the Wasatch Back.
