Fremont Indian State Park and Museum, Utah
Walk among petroglyphs and pictographs left by the Fremont people at the site of the largest known Fremont Indian village, unearthed during construction of Interstate 70 through Clear Creek Canyon. The museum displays thousands of excavated artifacts, including pottery, baskets, and arrowheads, while trails wind past rock art panels and volcanic cliffs. It's one of the richest windows into Utah's prehistoric past.
