Point of the Mountain's steady up-slope winds have made this 147-acre site one of the premier hang gliding and paragliding training grounds in the world, drawing pilots from across the globe to launch from its ridge. Even if you're not flying, it's a striking place to watch colorful wings ride the thermals above the Salt Lake and Utah valleys. A model aircraft port near the parking area welcomes RC plane and helicopter enthusiasts too.
