Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Utah
Wander a nearly 3,700-acre sea of vivid coral-colored sand, formed from eroding Navajo Sandstone and shaped by a wind funnel that has piled these dunes higher for over 10,000 years. Rent a sandboard and carve down the open dunefield, hike out at sunrise before the sand heats up, or bring an OHV to the park's dedicated riding area. Rippled textures and golden light make this one of Utah's most photographed desert landscapes.
