Camp Floyd State Park Museum, Utah
Step into 1858, when the U.S. Army built the largest concentration of troops in the nation right here in Cedar Valley to keep watch over the Utah Territory. Camp Floyd once housed more than 3,500 soldiers and swelled into a boomtown of nearly 7,000 residents before it was abandoned for the Civil War. Today the original commissary building serves as a museum alongside the restored Stagecoach Inn and a pioneer-era cemetery.
